Harness Board

Overview

This board is used for connections from your electronics to the wiring harness of your system.

Batteries and charges along with arming and power switches connect here.
The board is layed out so you can assemble it in several ways to suit your system.

You can use screw terminals for connecting wires if you wish.
I recommended that you solder the wiring directly to the board and permanently mount the board in your rocket. There is no need to remove this board.

Also it has space for a capacitor and current limiting resistor.
The resistor is needed if you are using a single battery to run the system.
If you are using seperate batteries for electronics(Batt1) and events(Batt2) then you can place a jumper where the resistor goes.

The capacitor is optional in a two battery system, but recommended. 1000uF is optimal but feel free to use larger. You may have to mount this cap sideways so there is clearance for the mounting board.

Let me know if there are other features that should be added to this board.

The spacing of the pads is for the terminals listed in the schematic. I recommend soldering the wires to the board. The terminals need to be mounted to the back side of the board so you may want to mount this board 'through' your mounting board.
