This application uses the Roctronics unit as a dual deployment altimeter.
This will require one controller a sensor board and a harness.
Images
This is a picture of the harness board mounted in my Hyfly minimum dia 54mm rocket. As can be seen from the picture the boards are placed side by side because there was little room for the stacked arangement. The stacked arangement would have fit with a "thru board" design like I used in my Sandhawk but there is a backup altimeter on the other side of the board(out of view) so that would not work. This shows how versatile the setup really is. Also in this picture you can see how all the wiring is soldered in place.
This is a wider view of the setup in the Hyfly. It has
the controller and sensor boards mounted.
This design used my idea of using
coax connectors for
the on/off and charge connectors(they can be seen on the bulkhead to the
right).
Testing
This design has been flown in a test vehicle and worked. It was using a wiring harness instead of a harness board and had 2-12V(N-size) batteries attached.
Code
This is the latest sourse code for the PIC controller to control dual depoyment.
